Operation description: 

The VRPS 'Hi-Lo speed cube' valve is specifically designed to increase the speed of the cylinder (most commonly used for log splitters).

In an unloaded or normally loaded state, the working pressure in the system or through the valve is up to approx. 60 bar (factory set).

In this range, the valve automatically switches the oil flow from the other side of the hydraulic cylinder. In this case, the hydraulic cylinder (splitter) has a significantly higher speed. In the case of a higher load on the cylinder (splitting at the splitter), the working pressure in the system also increases, and when it rises above 60 bar (or the set pressure on the VRPS valve), the oil flow in the system normalizes.

The cylinder now has full pressure force and normal speed, as declared by the pump flow.
