 Block valve:

 It serves for safety (in case of hydraulic hose damage, the cylinder remains in the same position). The block valve also serves to ensure that the hoses are not under pressure, thus preventing various forces on the cylinder from stressing the hydraulic valve or hydraulic system.

Usage:

Block valves are used to block the cylinder in both directions of operation. The flow is first released in one direction and blocked in the other direction until control pressure is applied in the other direction. The function works in reverse in the other direction as well. Block valves are easy to install on existing hydraulic cylinders.

Connection:

Connect the hydraulic pressure line to V1 and V1. Connect C1 and C2 to the actuator (hydraulic cylinder).
